In addition to the weekly sessions, coach development programme and kids of steel event that have already ran this year, triathlonscotland and Edinburgh Leisure have teamed up again to deliver a week long training camp during this summer holiday.
Edinburgh Leisure’s Jane Scott commented, “It’s great that the triathlon programme has taken off in Edinburgh and I’m really pleased that we are able to offer a summer camp to youngsters. It’s ideal for those looking to try the sport for the first time as well as those looking to hone their skills for the Glasgow Triathlon at the start of August”.
Brown Ferguson, triathlonscotland development manager commented “I am delighted that Edinburgh Leisure are growing their triathlon programme which can only be a good thing for the profile and development of the sport. This is yet again a great opportunity for youngsters to get additional training in what will be a very professional and enjoyable environment”.
