Double Commonwealth gold swimmer David Carry shares his open water swim tips with our guest blogger Bryan Burnett in his latest instalment.
Carry, the Scottish National Champion at 200m and 400m, will be competing at the British Gas Great Scottish Swim on 21 August.

"As the event grows then the quality of the swimmers attracted to it is greater," explained Carry. "It’s going to be a much tougher field this year. Last time I wasn’t in top form, but this year I am so hopefully will be able to use my sprint finish."
