triathlonscotland delivers a performance programme supporting athletes from its base at the Stirling Performance Centre. Our national coaches select a squad of performance athletes and work towards placing Scottish triathletes on the word stage.
Triathlon will be part of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and we aim to field a full team capable of winning a medal and delivering top 10 performances.
While the focus is on Commonwealth and Olympic goals and therefore Olympic distance triathlon, we are very proud of our champions across all distances and seeks to provide practical assistance and event opportunities wherever possible.
Our programme is supported by sportscotland and by the sportscotland institute of sport which provides a range of performance services.
Funding support and support services are also provided by the University of Stirling, Scotland's University for Sporting Excellence and through the national scholarship programme Winning Students, of which triathlon is a core sport.
