Scottish Schools Championship
The Scottish Schools Championships take place annually and include events for all pupils aged eight to 17. Participants do not need to be a member of triathlonscotland to take part and win Scottish School Championship titles. The 2012 Championship is taking place on Sunday 3 June and will be hosted by Stirling Triathlon Club, with pupils invited to attend through their schools.
The children compete over different distances, categorised by age.

In 2011, the Schools Championship was hosted by Stirling Tri Club, in partnership with triathlonscotland. More than 200 young athletes competed across the University of Stirling campus.

Male - 1st Connor Thornhill (Canmore Primary, Dunfermline), 2nd Bryn Doherty (Symington Primary, Symington), 3rd Callum Marjoribanks (Buckstone Primary, Edinburgh); Female - 1st Elena McGorum (Priorsford Primary, Peebles), 2nd Saoirse Ferguson (Holy Cross Primary, Croy), 3rd Alex Jones (High School of Glasgow).
