Fusion Triathlon Club has extended the deadline for entries for the Scottish Youth Championship until 1 August. The event itself takes place on Saturday 7 August at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow and is open for youths aged 8 – 16.
The club are also running an adult come and tri event consisting of a 150m pool swim, 4k bike on tarmac traffic free roads and 1.5k run on grass. All this takes place just before the junior Championship and it is expected that there will be a good turnout at what is one of the biggest events on the junior calendar.
Elizabeth Adams from Fusion said “We have extended the entry date by a few days to encourage more people to register for either the adult event or junior championship. Bellahouston Park is a fantastic venue and we’re really looking forward to welcoming so many competitors along on the day”.
