Volunteer with us!
Following on from two truly excellent Triathlon Festival weekends back in June and September 2016, we are now planning our next BIG event – the British Sprint Championships, and Scottish Mixed Team Relay National Triathlon Championships!
When: Saturday 27 May
Where: Strathclyde Country Park
What: A multisport festival incorporating novice, sprint, relay and TriStar 2 and 3 races!
I’m in! Sign up here
We are very excited, because the sprint races will also serve as a qualification event for the European Age Group Sprint Triathlon Championships in 2018, also at Strathclyde Park! So that’s right, there will be another major event volunteering campaign coming your way very soon, so if you want to be involved in Glasgow 2018, then why not gain valuable venue insight by lending a hand with us in 2017!
These events can only take place with the help of willing helpers and in the past we have been blessed with an incredible workforce. So show your #scotspirit, and come and get involved!
If you would like to volunteer to help out on the day please complete the sign up form link above.
This form is to register your interest. It is not an application form. By filling in the form it allow you to tell us what if any experience you have with triathlon and/or volunteering and also helps us to allocate you a role that you’ll enjoy. If you have done this before, it just helps us to make sure that we have your correct details and can cater for your needs, as these needs can change year to year.
Please also complete our Equality monitoring form . We ask you to do this each year because Triathlon Scotland is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all and again your information can change. We aim to have a diverse volunteer workforce and welcome applications from all. For further information, please visit our Equality information page here.
We fully expect that everyone who applies will have a role at the event, so welcome to the team!
If you want to know a little bit more, take a look at some event crew role profiles to get an idea of the exciting roles you could be responsible for and watch the volunteers video from the 2016 Strathclyde Park Triathlon Festival below.
Information about #scotspirit
We are excited about VisitScotland launching its first ever global campaign for Scotland, with one message #scotspirit running through all activity, together with jaw-dropping imagery, landscapes and moods. We encourage you to use this hashtag as often as you can, and to mention us @TriScotVols and @scottishtri.
