We are pleased that you can now sign up for Conference 2016!
This key event is our pre season gathering incorporating sport development workshops for coaches, clubs, event organisers and technical officials and is a chance to learn from industry experts, network within our great sport.
Saturday’s coaching sessions are themed “Ready to race – ready to tri: getting our athletes ready for racing” and we will be welcoming sport psychologist Misha Botting as the conference keynote speaker.
Botting has a background as a professional ballet dancer in the Russian Bolshoi ballet and is the lead Sport Psychologist to GB Curling, Wheelchair Curling and Scottish Swimming’s Olympic and Paralympic programmes as well as a host of other sports.
Interactive swim, bike and transition workshops will enhance delegates’ knowledge and attendees will take part in three practical workshops including running great open water swimming sessions in a pool environment, delivering great indoor cycling sessions and getting transitions right EVERY time!
On Sunday we invite club officers, event organisers and officials to Stirling, and for early birds we have lined up another Yoga for triathletes session with Mark Russell. Yoga will be followed by our open water safety for triathletes workshop. This session, led by H2O safety, will focus on learning about environment, safety and rescue. The day will conclude with knowledge sharing on supporting your club members to get involved in all areas of the sport, be it event organising, managing a committee or officiating. The session will wrap up with a short update on developments in welfare.
Full details of the workshops can be found below, and the link to book. See you there!
