Isle of Bute Triathlon

Announcing this year's Isle of Bute Triathlon series, once again Sprint and Novice distances offered. This is a small and deservedly popular and well established Triathlon event. The ethos of the event is very much taking part, with a wide range of abilities signing up each year, and always a great atmosphere. Team entries are welcome (please enter via the 'Teams' events)! This is a chip timed event with medals awarded in each category and prizes to the overall male and female winner. Event momentos to all participants; fabulous buffet afterwards. Results will be posted online as soon as possible within 24 hours of the event. Swim takes place in Rothesay Leisure Pool; then jump on the bike and head out on the quiet somewhat hilly country road cutting across the island, with fabulous views of Isle of Arran. The run is laps around the perimeter of a local park, terrain is a mixture of road, gravel, track. Come on and sample the Isle of Bute!
