The inaugural Celtic Cup 2025 will be held in Wales, at the Wild Horse Brewing Co. Llandudno Standard Triathlon on 4 October 2025. However, to be part of this team you first need to qualify.
Qualification will take place at the Monikie Standard Triathlon on 19 July 2025. Find out more in the selection policy.
Make sure you register your interest to qualify before 11 July 2025 – it’s free to register, just complete this form.
Being part of the Celtic Cup team is an exclusive membership benefit, so you need to have a valid Triathlon Scotland Core or Ultimate membership on the day of the qualifying race and on the day of the Celtic Cup race.

Costs
We appreciate a trip to Wales will cost you money (although we do hope you think it’s worth it) so Triathlon Scotland will pay the entry fee for the Celtic Cup race.
You’ll be required to purchase a Triathlon Scotland trisuit – not only does it look fantastic, but it’s your badge of honour and a powerful way to feel part of the team. These will be available to purchase for £120. There will also be a hoodie and t-shirt to buy, but these are not essential. We’ll have samples of the trisuits at Monikie Standard Triathlon for you to pick the correct size.
Will this be a one and done?
No, we plan to hold the Celtic Cup annually, so you could be wearing your Triathlon Scotland trisuit at Celtic Cup races for years to come, as well as wearing it with pride at Scottish events!
