Our Coach Educator team play a vital role within our coach education system. They are part of a small and highly experienced team of educators who are responsible for supporting coaches on their journey through our education pathway to help develop world-class coaches in Scotland.

High Performing Coach Programme Coaches (HPCP)
All HPCP coaches are dedicated individuals who have committed to improving both their theoretical and practical coaching skills. They will have knowledge of the interdisciplinary nature of sport science, periodisation for coaching on an individual basis and the delivery of field-based testing methods.

Coaching Workforce
There are more than 430 qualified triathlon coaches in Scotland, each playing a key role in developing triathlon in clubs across the country. There are currently three levels of Triathlon qualifications available for candidates to complete, you can check. These courses are delivered by our pool of expert coach tutors.
Triathlon Scotland maintain a Coaching Register, and in order to be on the register you must hold a valid triathlon coaching qualification and be a current coaching member of Triathlon Scotland. To view the register, please see below.
