Club Affiliation

Triathlon clubs are the driving force behind the sport in Scotland. Affiliation with Triathlon Scotland helps clubs grow stronger, safer, and more sustainable, giving members confidence that their club is supported, recognised, and part of the wider triathlon community. Affiliation with Triathlon Scotland is a key part of that foundation, ensuring clubs meet recognised standards while unlocking vital support, protection, and opportunities. Below you’ll find information on the benefits of affiliation and how to get your club affiliated.

How to Affiliate

The affiliation process is simple and requires the putting in place of a basic committee structure, as well as a governing document and policies.

Once your club has all the requirements in place, the final step to becoming an affiliated club is to complete the relevant affiliation form.

2026/2027 University Affiliation Form: The form is due to be submitted by 31 October 2026. You can complete it here: Club Affiliation Form
2026 Club Affiliation Form: The form and supporting documents were due by 31 March 2026.

Please ensure your club/university submits the relevant forms by the deadlines to maintain affiliation.

The Triathlon Scotland team offers guidance and support including; club development planning, identifying and applying for funding, engaging and recruiting volunteers, increasing the club profile, event scoping and planning, developing workforce and coaches.
