East Fortune Sprint Duathlon 2027

Fast, fun and tactical racing on a closed motor-racing circuit - with draft-legal, non-drafting and junior races.

Back for its fifth year, TriWorks brings you the East Fortune Duathlon, including Scotland’s only draft-legal multisport race. Based at the East Fortune motor-racing circuit, the event offers exciting racing on a closed course with wide, smooth tarmac and sweeping bends.

Whether you’re a competitive racer, a fitness enthusiast, a first-timer or a junior athlete, there’s a race for you.

We’re excited to support the next generation of athletes and encourage junior athletes into the wonderful world of multisport racing. Our super-sprint distance races are accessible and exciting, providing great experiences and opportunities to develop multi-sport skills.

New to multi-sport events? You're in exactly the right place. Expect a friendly welcome, a supportive atmosphere and a flat, straightforward course. Choose our non-drafting wave if you want to focus on your own race.

Looking for a fast, competitive race? The non-drafting wave is ideal for experienced triathletes, runners or cyclists who want to race hard on a fast, closed circuit. And if tactical racing is your thing, the draft-legal wave delivers the speed, strategy and competition that make draft-legal racing so exciting.

Draft-Legal Sprint Duathlon:
5km run, 20km bike, and 2.5km run, in separate Female and Open Waves.

We are bidding for qualifier status for both World and European championships; and to be the British and/or Scottish championships. We will announce any changes to the status of the event as soon as the decisions are made by British Triathlon.

We will also confirm shortly if the draft-legal race is to be included in the Scottish Student Sport Triathlon Series.

Non-Drafting Sprint Duathlon:
5km run, 20km bike, and 2.5km run, in a single wave for all genders, with a 10m draft zone applied during the bike leg.

Juniors:
Super sprint duathlons for the Tristar 1, 2, 3, and Youth age groups.

Tristar 1 (Ages 9-10) Run 1000m Bike 2.3km Run 500m
Tristar 2 (Ages 11 - 12) Run 1400m Bike 4.6km Run 700m

For all junior entries, parents or guardians will need to create an account with Entry Central, then use the "Add Another Person" function to add their children's details and enter them into the correct event.
