Glasgow University Aquathlon

The event will take place between 9am and 1pm approximately; the full order of events will be emailed to competitors nearer the time. Parking is free at the sports centre, which is located a few minutes from M8 J24 and M77 J1. The swim will take place in Glasgow Club Bellahouston's 25m pool : http://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/sport/glasgow-club/bellahouston/Pages/home.aspx The Sprint Aquathlon run will consist of 2 laps whereas the Novice will be 1 lap. The easily accessible sports centre with its range of facilities, as well as a run completely contained within the quiet footpaths of one of Glasgow's stunning parks, makes this a great event for anyone! If you just love a challenge or need to put that winter training program to the test, we look forward to seeing you on the day! There will be finisher's T-shirts and goodie bags available at the finishline for Sprint Distance finishers. For GO TRI Novice Aquathlon finishers, there will be a Triathlon Scotland Certificate and goodie bags. Age group prizes will also be on offer for Sprint distance finishers. A special Student prize will be on offer for the fastest student. The GO TRI Novice Aquathlon is aimed at triathletes new to triathlon in conjunction with Triathlon Scotland.
