Mull of Kintyre Triathlon

The opening race of the 2027 MOK Tri race series will take place in the heart of Campbeltown on 16 May 2027. It will be a super sprint event offering competitors the perfect blend of challenge, scenery and community spirit. Competitors will begin with a 400m pool swim, before taking on fast and scenic 10km cycle route around Campbeltown's stunning coastal landscape. The race concludes with a 2.5km looped run through the town and along the picturesque waterfront, providing a memorable finish for both first-time triathletes and experienced racers alike in Kinloch park. A juniors aquathlon event is also available to provide an opportunity for wider engagement with the sport of triathlon The event is designed to be welcoming, friendly and accessible, race 1 sets the tone for the series, bringing together local athletes and visitors in one of Scotlands most spectacular sporting destinations. Whether you are chasing a personal best, taking on your first triathlon, or competing for series points, Campbeltown provides an unforgettable start to the Mull of Kintyre triathlon journey.
