Event Organiser Course

The organisation and delivery of triathlon events are the backbone of the sports success in the UK, and the quality of these events is vital to the continuing growth and development of the fast growing, dynamic and modern sport.

Triathlon Scotland delivers an Event Organisers course, which aims to provide existing and new event organisers with the skills and the knowledge required to provide safe and memorable events for all participants.

Each course will be made up of 12-16 delegates, allowing attendees to share their own experiences and learn from others, in a relaxed and informal environment.   Our delegates rate the course highly and feedback is always positive.  Here is what our 2016 Course Delegates had to say about their experience:

“Thank you Richard and Gemma.  I feel rejuvenated and ready to attack the 2017 race season with lots of new event ideas!”

“This has really helped to give me confidence in taking on the role of event organiser. Lots of helpful background, and highlighting of crucial points I might not have thought of myself! Thank you!”

“An excellent course delivered very profesionally but also fun. Gemma and Richard were extremely knowledgeable and shared their experiences from running events.”

“The tutors where brilliant and kept the course flowing really well!”

“An ideal opportunity to tap into a wealth of event organisation experience and effective marketing.”

“Great networking experience and great insight into background work required for running a successful event.”
