The Kilkerran MOK Triathlon Series – Race 2

Welcome to the Kilkerran MOK Triathlon Series.


The series will take the format off three separate events in two different locations around the South Kintyre peninsula.

The events will start with a super sprint distance within Campbeltown on 11 May 2025, the second event will be a sprint distance event with a sea swim also in Campbeltown on 6 July 2025, and the final event will be a standard distance event also with a sea swim in the Machrihanish area 17 August 2025.

Individual race prizes will be given, with the overall times from all 3 counting towards series winner prizes.

This is race 2 of our series, which will be a sprint event focused around Campbeltown loch. We have changed the location this year so we can offer a deep water swim start in Campbeltown sea loch. We intend to put on:

Junior Aquathon
Tristar 2 - 300m Sea Swim - 2km run
All other Juniors - 500m Sea Swim - 2.8km run

Adult Triathlon - 750m Sea swim - 19km Looped bike ride - 5km Road run

This is our third year of the series and have chose to expand our race option this year to encourage a wider age group and ability to come and take part.
