Cameron Main is an athlete from Elgin who recently made the move to long course triathlon and currently competes in 70.3.

He has been involved in triathlon since the age of 12 and was initially coached by his father until 2013, when he was selected for the Scottish Triathlon Foundation Squad. In 2015, he progressed to the Development Squad and was named to the Commonwealth Games Squad in 2021.

Cameron has represented Scotland at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, and Great Britain at the U23 European and World Championships, as well as the Elite European Championships.

In addition to his athletic pursuits, Cameron serves as the chairman of Abbie’s Sparkle Foundation, a children’s cancer charity established by his late sister, Abbie Main, who passed away from sarcoma on Christmas Day 2017.
