Put on for novice's looking to dip their toes in the open water. We are delighted to invite you to the first Open Novice Triathlon at Monikie Park, Angus. Brought to you by the organisers of the 2015 Most Enjoyable Event and the 2016 Event of the Year, Monifieth Triathlon Club (2017 Club of the Year)

The 400m swim in the calm waters of Monikie Park's north pond, followed by an opportunity to sample some beautiful scenery with views over Angus and the River Tay during a 12km cycle on quiet country roads round the park, finishing with a fast 2.5km run around the South ponds of the park makes for a scenic and enjoyable race. Coupled with an amazing post race feast. It would be a brilliant way for novices to transition from pool triathlons to Open water.
