Events: Sprint Aquathlon - 750m pool swim & 5km run Novice Aquathlon - 400m pool swim & 2.5km run



Glasgow University Triathlon Club looks forward to welcoming competitors of all abilities to Scotstoun; complete beginners, triathlon enthusiasts and elite athletes alike. The easily accessible sports centre with its range of facilities makes this a great event for anyone! If you just love a challenge or need to put that winter training program to the test, we look forward to seeing you on the day!

This event is open to all. While we are a university club, we are delighted to host this public event and we welcome everybody. The Novice Aquathlon is aimed at athletes new to triathlon and also junior athletes.

After the event, there will be a prizegiving ceremony for overall winners and age catgeories. Prizes will be awarded in open and female categories for age groups as follows:

Sprint Race: Overall, Senior 16-39, Veteran 40-49, Supervet 50-59, Vintage 60+.

Novice Race: Overall

Bonus prize for the fastest T1 transition.
