Triathlon Scotland is delighted that the Lochore Aquathlon will return for 2023! Taking place at Lochore Meadows Country Park on Sunday 18 June, there is racing for everyone. We would encourage clubs to make a day of it, with racing for everyone and an opportunity to see some of the best youths and junior in the country in action.

This year, Lochore Aquathlon will be part of the National Triathlon Series with results from the Competitive TriStar races, Super Series races and Adult Sprint Aquathlon all qualifying for points.

* British Super Series for Youth (15-16 years old) & Youth B/Junior (17-19 year old) with an exciting three race, multi-distance format, over different swim / run distances with an athletes best 2 results counting towards overall finish position.
* Competitive TriStar event is open to all 9-14 year olds, with an exciting heats & finals format for TriStar 2s & 3s. (everyone gets to race twice) (includes selection opportunity for IRCS)
* Participation TriStar event is open to all 9-14 year olds and offers a great introductory aquathlon for anyone new to the sport or wanting to build their confidence
* Sprint distance (750m swim, 5km run) – adults (age 15+)
* GO TRI (300m swim, 1.2km run) – beginner friendly - adults (age 15+)

Note: if the race is not full from Super Series applicants it will be opened up to other athletes. If you would like to do the race but are not intending to race in the Super Series please register your interest here.
