Monifieth Triathlon Club are delighted to host the Monikie Triathlon Festival. This year consisting of a Sprint, Novice (aimed at people wanting to give triathlon a go), Youth Triathlon, a relay and a Super League test event. All at the beautiful Monikie Country Park. This stunning area of beauty is located just a few miles outside Dundee. The sprint is a 750m swim is in open waters of the North Pond of Monikie Country park. The end of the swim features a unique swim up the sluice. After the swim participants has a 21km cycle round the beautiful undulating Angus Countryside. Athletes return to the park for the 5km run section which is a since run around both ponds in Monikie Park.
