MOK TRI Series Race 1

Welcome to the Kilkerran MOK Tri Series

The series will take the format off three separate events in two different locations around the South Kintyre peninsula. The events will start with a super sprint distance within Campbeltown on 17 May 2026, the second event will be a sprint distance event with a deep water start sea swim in Campbeltown on 05 July 2026, and the final event will be a standard distance event also with a sea swim in the Machrihanish area 16 August 2026.

Individual race prizes will be given, with the overall times from all 3 counting towards series winner prizes.

This is race 1 of our series, which will be a super sprint event focused around Kinloch park in the centre of Campbeltown. We intend to put on:

Junior age group Aquathlon
Tristar 1 - 150m Pool swim followed by a 750m park run
TriStar 2/Youth A&B - 250m pool swim then a 1.35km park run

Adult Triathlon
400m pool swim - 10km out and back bike ride - 2.5km road run

This is our third year of the series and have chose to expand our race option each year to encourage a wider age group and ability to come and take part.
