Event Information

The Shindig is a duathlon located on the banks of Loch Shin, at Lairg in the Highlands of Scotland. It is a ‘sprint’ distance duathlon with a run-bike-run format. The run sections use woodland paths and open hill tracks while the cycle section follows unbusy public roads. The 2019 event will be the fifth one run by local club East Sutherland Wheelers and it will again provide an enjoyable physical challenge in quiet, attractive location for both experienced athletes and new comers looking to complete their first event.
