Event Information

The Stirling Aquathlon is an established classic on the Scottish Racing Calendar and a great way to close off your race season. Due to the on-going redevelopment works taking place at the University of Stirling, the event registration, transition and finish will be relocated to the grass meadow next to Airthrey Loch, opposite the National Swimming Academy building. Adults will race over 750m in the Scottish Swimming Academy pool followed by 2 clockwise laps of Airthrey Loch to make up the 5k run distance. The Junior Aquathlon is open to competitors aged from 8 to 16 (based on competitor’s age at end of this year) inclusive. The run route will be an out and back style run on the path(s) surrounding Airthrey Loch, except those competing in the 13-14 & 15-16 who shall complete 1 clockwise lap of the Loch.
